Financial Reporting Accountant - London

A global Investment Management firm based in the city are looking to recruit a Financial Reporting Accountant. This opportunity will offer the successful candidate to work on a long term contract basis.

As the Financial Reporting Accountant you will have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people and departments including Group Treasury, Finance Operations and Business Analysis. You will be responsible for all Financial Reporting duties including developing and producing management accounts.

You will be primarily responsible for:

• Preparing year end IFRS statutory accounts
• Producing regulatory returns on a quarterly basis
• Participating in planning quarterly re-forecasts and monthly cashflow forecasts
• Reviewing and ensuring all month end and Group reporting are produced to set deadlines

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate strong numerical and analytical skills. A strong background in preparing statutory and regulatory reports (IFRS, FSA or similar) would be highly desirable. Previous experience in Asset Management would be preferred but all backgrounds within Financial Services will be considered.
